It is the most beautiful place for children at all. There are a lot of animals and my children enjoyed a lot. When you enter, you will pay two dollars for each child who wants to feed the animals and ride horses. There is a small and a large horse for $ 5, and there is a lot of fun with the small animals. Then we took ice cream. Soon we didn't feel it and the Amish people were so nice 🤗my kids were asking me to go again
Absolutely loved it. We had never been. We brought family from out of town. A friend recommended it. You get to go in a wagon ride thru the farm and feed the animals from the wagon. They give you the feed. The animals that were in the cages could have fruit loops and carrots. You could buy them there too. Lots of fun stuff to see and do. We stayed for a couple hours. They have a place to wash your hands. The bathroom is a port-a-potty. It's ran by a sweet Amish family.
I took my 13 and 11 year old grandkids yesterday. I've never been before but friends recommended it. The wagon ride was a good experience overall. They made many stops and we were able to feed the animals that came up to the wagon. The problem I experienced was with the petting farm area. It was quite warm and most of the animals did not have shelter from the Sun. If there was a shelter, all of the animals couldn't fit in it. Many of the animals did not have water. There were birds without water. And there was no supervision around that area. Many of the kids were chasing birds in the aviary even though there were signs and their parents were there. Several of the animals had goopy eyes and maggots. I have seen other reviews with the same concerns so I hope someone addresses it soon.
I've been going there for three summers in a row and every time it's so much fun, the interaction with the different animals is amazing! Don't forget the wagon ride!
We had the best time at Dutch Creek Farm! The animals were interactive and seemed happy and well taken care of. My husband grew up on a farm and was so happy to see this. Our 3 year old loved being able to pet all of the animals. The wagon ride was most definitely the highlight. I was shocked that food for the animals is included.
